In A recent lottery, a West Virginia man won $317 million in the Powerball lottery. The odds of winning this lottery are just over 120 million to 1.
Those are pretty steep odds. However, winning the lottery is a piece of cake in comparison to the odds of you being born in the first place. You are the product of 23 chromosomes from your mother and 23 chromosomes from your father.
Geneticists have determined that the odds of your parents having another child just like you are 10 to the 2 billionth power to 1. It would take you 75 years working day and night just to write out this number by hand.
The bottom line is that there will never be another you. You are one-of-a-kind.
