You deserve a compliment

If you celebrated International Passion Day the way I did, then you had a great time. Now I’d like to reward you for taking action to follow your passions.

Your passions are what allow you to express your unique gifts. As long as you put them off, or think that you can’t live them, then you won’t be able to, and you are denying yourself and the world the delight of your special gifts.

So, why not use International Passion Day as an excuse to make the whole next month a Passion Day? Who knows, you might develop the habit of acting on your passions :) .

By the way, if you didn’t get to see the special International Passion Day movie, you don’t want to miss it. It will definitely help you stay inspired to keep on track with following your passions. You can view it here:

One of the principles of living a passionate life is: “What you put your attention on grows stronger in your life.”

And one of the things that keeps many of us from following our passions is our own negative self-talk. So may I help you start a new phase of positive self-talk?

Chris and Janet Attwood, co-authors of the New York Times bestseller, The Passion Test, are experts in this area, and they have teamed up with Rubber Chicken cards to create the most fun and uplifting animations that will provide you with a much deserved Compliment every week for three months.

By the way, Chris and Janet have assured me that when you sign up for your weekly Compliments you will NOT receive any marketing emails from them or Rubber Chicken as a result. These are purely for fun and to help you keep your attention on how special you really are.

Here’s what a few people have said about the Rubber Chicken Compliments:

“You are always full of wonderful surprises . . . thanks for bringing fun and laughter into everyone’s life and especially into mine!”

“Thank you for this – it is amazing and what a great way to start the day.”

“How fantastic!! What a great thought – shall be sending this on to my friends and family, it was the first email I opened – I have started my day off well.”

You deserve a compliment, don’t you think?

    Hey John,

I just wanted to add something about self talk. I haven’t blogged about this yet but my next blog post is going to be about that topic and it’s to do with writing a 3rd person biography about yourself.

It’s an interesting exercise as it puts you outside of yourself and allows you to take a different view of who you are and the things you’ve done in your life. For any of your readers, give it a go and see what you discover about yourself through that process! It’s a challenge writing a ‘selling’ type of biography about yourself but it alters your self talk naturally.

    Worth a go!

    Have a wonderful weekend!

    Amit
