Tivo alert: Tune in or record Larry King Live, tonight at 5 p.m. Pacific

Hi all,

Just a heads up to let you know that I will be on Larry King Live tonight (Friday, October 26, 2007) to talk about how to handle your mental anguish when you are confronted with an unexpected loss.

This is a timely topic in the wake of this week’s firestorm in Southern California, where more than half a million people had to quickly evacuate and live for a few days with the gut-wrenching possibility of losing their homes (myself included) – and more than 1,700 families, at last count, have had to face that awful reality.

Tune in if you can! That’s the Larry King Live show on CNN, at 8 p.m. Eastern, 5 p.m. Pacific

Thanks for the heads up. I will record it and watch it later. It’s so nice to hear about it before it happens! Keep up the great work. You are an inspiration! Thanks also for participating in my book! Your answers will inspire many people.

    Blessings,

    Keith

Thanks JOhn – this is such an important issue. HOWEVER – I’m in NYC and Larry King Live is on at 9pm, not 8…SO not sure if this is an added program.

Ah, to be thankful for how it is — whether the cup is full or half empty, whether the house is standing or not — life is everything, guard that with everything you’ve got!

I wished the best for you, John –

It’s staggering the number of people who have been displaced by the firestorm in California. This natural disaster has also reminded me just how small the world is. One of the participants in one of my Pilates’ classes shared with me that her family had to be evacuated and one of my former coach tutors sent me an email yesterday to say that he and his family were safe and well. I cannot imagine the anguish that people must be going through right now. However, I have faith that the human spirit will eventually triumph.

My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

I missed it. I hope I can view it online. I also hope you, your family and home are safe. From what I hear on the news is that arson is now involved which is even more sickening.

Sorry it was not on any of the channels I receive …maybe you could put it online for us ….with thanks

I missed it too! Larry King usually comes on at 9 pm here in Roch., NY, but last night there was a CNN special on at 9 pm here! I missed the part of your e mail that it would be on at 8 pm, a special time for Larry King, and so I very regretfully missed the whole thing! Do you think they will ever rerun it on a Sat. or Sun. night? Can you check with the folks at CNN programming and let us know with a special announcement here online? Thanks!

Crap, I missed it too!!! Hopefully we will get a recap, so we may all see it. Thanks a bunch, Love ya as always, Jackie

Yep, I missed it too. Would really love to see this. We all know that love lives on but the pain seems to live on as well. It is so hard to see the silver lining in this kind of tragedy. All of the cliches and positive words can’t seem to repair a broken heart.

CNN changed up their schedule and I ended up with an Anderson Cooper special on the recording. I’ve searched for the video on CNN’s site but couldn’t find it.

It’d be great if you could get CNN to put it up since those of us who are loyal Larry King watchers missed it because of their schedule change. I’ll contact them directly as well.

Well, I wrote to CNN asking them to post the video. In the meantime, the transcript is available for free.
