You must plant the seed and wait for it to grow.

The oak tree itself is not the acorn. Like us it takes in nutrients to be able to grow. Some of the oak tree will be from molecules that have divided but also from outside substance (earth, water, carbon dioxide, etc.) that the acorn, sapling, tree has absorbed.

Not only is the acorn pure potential for the oak tree, it expects to become one should all of the conditions be correct – soil and water. I wonder what determines which acorns become trees and which ones are eaten by squirrels!!

The potential for the oak lives is encoded in the acorn. If the right conditions exists for the acorn to express its potential…its potential resonates with the nourishment surrounding it (sun, soil, water, etc), then the acorn has the support to express its full potential.

The potential to become an oak tree lies in the acorn. It does however need the right conditions to grow into the might oak tree. It needs moisture, nutrients, and the sun.

From the acorn, there is one seed in it.

The oak tree is a manifestation of the acorn.

The acorn contains the potential/desire to be an oak tree. It then attracts what it needs to reach that end… water, sunlight, etc.
The universe contains all that is needed and the acorn merely needs to manifest it to reach it’s potential.

the oak tree is in the universe. It can become an oak tree until it is planted in good soil, and receives the necessary sunlight and water. Then the acorn takes action, it takes what is given to it and becomes a mighty oak tree.

The oak tree is in the thought. As an oak tree thinketh, so is it. Purely an idea of divine Mind!

The tree is inside the acorn, but to see it we must believe that it is there inside and take action based upon our belief. Taking action involves-Asking curious questions, learning about germination, planting the seed, nurturing the soil, watering etc. Only then we can see the Oak tree.

    Dear John,
I am really impressed by the comments posted already. I guess there is nothing really new for me to add, although your question seems to me a little bit like the question what was there first: the egg or the chicken, we know about the process and our vision creates the outcome but it has always been there. I am really excited about what you are going to tell us.

OK John, this is my best shot…:) The oak tree already is…. and with the right conditions it appears. The ingredients needed for this to occur (given the right conditions) are all in that little acorn. The acorn does not have to struggle, it just has to be surrounded with the right atmosphere and condidtions that possess what it needs to grow.

The potential for the oak tree is inside the acorn, however, it must be planted into fertile soil to manifest. As long as it is imprisoned in the acorn, the oak tree is just a possibility waiting to happen.

The oak tree is a potential manifestation of the infinate intellegence and it’s physical appearance will present itself into expression if planted into the fertile soil in a place where it will receive the neccessary conditions (water, sun, temperature, etc.)

The oak tree exists in the invisible ‘thinking stuff’ that pervades the universe. The acorn has the potential to attract unto itself all the material elements from air, soil and water, which, when mixed with the material elements already present in the acorn, will grow into an oak tree. The oak tree, therefore, already exists as individual elements, and through the law of attraction, sent out by the acorn after it has been exposed to the right conditions, a life force brings those elements together and thus an oak tree grows.

This is the same as the chicken or egg question, which came first? My answer is that everything begins in mind, then the spoken word, then faith in the power of God, then manifestation.

Good topic! The Oak Tree is what the Acorn will be one day. The Oak Tree is not technically inside the Acorn but the strongest determination to “grow and become” an Oak Tree is.

Well put Christine! Also, i will add that the acorn must be planted in fertile soil and nurtured. We can learn a lot from this analogy.

The acorn holds within itself the energetic potential to attract the necessary environment to produce a huge oak tree. It’s natural and pure intention is for this purpose only.

Eager to hear your response, John. A big ‘HELLO’ from the BraveHeart Community.

Everything to create the oak tree is contained in the acorn.
If the acorn is planted in good soil, given water and sun, it HAS to grow into an oak tree. It can’t not do it. It is preprogramed to be an oak tree.

The oak tree is there. If you accept that the Divine created time itself, do you really think we perceive time in the same way? Or energy? Yet the acorn is a step, just one of many in this “universe” as we perceive it with the sensory tools that we are equipped with.
