Thanks John for addressing the all important issue of mindset in changing ones' life. I think that a major issue for many people is that they are very clear and emotional about what they DON"T want, but they are fuzzy and unclear about what they really DO want. Obviously, the conscious mind has to choose but a major missing ingredient is the lack of excitement or emotion to wrap around the new goal. As long as one is unclear and 'feel' that the new goal is improbable and 'feel' unhappy about their present circumstances,
it will be difficult to re-wire the subconscious which responds to emotion and not intellect. Feelings are a HUGH key!

I agree with the importance of visualization but there is that subtle dynamic of letting go that makes it come around. So what we have to do is visualize and create triggers that affirm yet we have to be in a state of detachment. This is from my experience essential. I am an artist and have had to rely on the power of manifestation for years. I have to thank you John for expanding the possibilities even more.

Hey John,
You have no idea how you changed my life.
I've been in a seminar of your 2 weeks ago in Israel, and since then I carry around 3 notebooks: 1 for my beautiful girlfriend and our amazing relationship, 1 for my awsome 16 friends and 1 for my ability to consistenly do visualization, positive affirmitation and meditation for 2 hours every day.
I'm been reading each of my notebooks 3 times every day for the last 2 weeks and I'm already starting to feel the diffrent. I'm waiting patiencly for 30-60 days until the magic will begin...

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you so much, John. You have no idea, NO IDEA how much you helped me with my life.

Thanks you.
With appriciation and love,
Eyal

We could begin an entire debate about the reality of the subsconcious mind or 'unconscious' as it is known to some and never settle on the 'true' reality of this phenomenon. Personally, I believe that both conscious intention and relaxed access to the deeper mind that automates and runs all things to do with our bodies is a wiser approach than an either/or approach because if something is unconscious or subsconcious, it is not known to us and we can only guess from the manifestations in the external world and our behaviours that something is causing it at a level of non-awareness. Given that awareness is the key to change, we first need to become aware (conscious) that something needs to change and then consciously decide to repeat new behaviours and thought patterns on a regular and systematic basis until we have entrained the new behaviours and thought patterns. Some say this takes 28 days and I guess that 60 will more or less guarantee the new patterns. Change though, happens in an instant - the moment we decide to change, it begins - the continuity of that change is very dependant on a conscious daily decision to re-enforce that change and a complete commitment to our decision to change. For that we need sufficient reasons to continue. So as much as I love your work John, in this case I agree to a certain extent and beg to differ (based on vast experience over many years of working with people) about relying only on a subsconcious retraining as the method of change. The subsconscious is likened to a little puppy trying to please the conscious (captain of the ship)so we still need the conscious mind's help. Respect Kathy
