Happy For No Reason

I nearly drove into the ditch when I heard on the radio that people who are happy earn $750,000+ more in their lifetime than others. That’s a lot — 3/4 of a million.

More than 255 studies show that money doesn’t buy happiness. Studies say it is the other way around: Happiness buys money.

The radio didn’t even address the fact that happy people are more fulfilled, relaxed, and peaceful …that they naturally get lower prices, more opportunities, better care, more friends, greater intimacy, and so on.

You might think, “I would be happy too if I had more intimacy (or that car, that raise, that home…),” but it is the other way around. If you’re happy first, everything will come. High wages. Great relationships. Better sex. Career advancements. Customers. Great deals. Contentment in your home. All naturally, with little effort, which will make you happier still. “Happiness runs in a circular motion.”

Happy For No Reason book coverA dear friend just released a fabulous new book, “Happy for No Reason,” that’s already getting huge acclaim. This is a breakthrough book — not a Pollyannaish book — that shows you how to raise your baseline of happiness.

This means that no matter what happens at work — no matter what stress plows into you — no matter how dire the circumstances — you will AUTOMATICALLY return to a higher level of happiness than you have today. Imagine, you don’t have to get richer, thinner, or smarter to be happier.

That’s huge. That’s why after I read the first chapter, I exclaimed, “Holy cow! This will change the world.”

This book should be on every desk… in every office… every school… every nightstand. It should be in the hands of everyone you know.

Yes I 100% agree, I am learning so much so fast about this subject and I have to say from my own experience that to earn what you want you do have to start with being happy and greatful for what you have. Thank you john for just being you! :0)

I believe happiness comes only if you are satisfied with what you have achieved. It’s how you dream your life to be, how you create it. once you achieve that, you are grateful and that to me is happiness. Live a good and honest life. meor

Yes I agree with your blog. I’ve experienced it myself. But happiness will not be experienced if your nervous system is overstressed. We just have to purify ourselves from stress and this was accomplished when I started to practice Maharishi’s Technology of the Unified Field, that is Transcendental Meditation and TM Siddhi Program just like our great Physicist Mr. JOHN HAGELIN.

Mark Hankins talked about this this morning show #3553

Our Bible tell us that we are what WE THINK, we will have what we say, Mark 11:23 24. This is Jesus talking and I know he would not lie to me!!!!!! He says to talk right to the problem itself..

23″I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. 24Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

The secret is based on this scripture, so we have our answer , we control our world

so I guess our job is to get our mouth open and start talking our life, I am happy and safe and loved and happy and safe and loved . I can say this all day, if I want and I want too.

I have seen this be the case in my life. The happier I was, the more positive things showed up. The less appreciation and positive thoughts I have, the more negative things showed up, in every aspect of my life. Like people say: When it rain it pours..now we see why.
Thanks John for making us more aware of how to tap into the right frequency!

In my 56 years of huge successes (and a few losses) I have never seen anyone so ‘on target’ with the exact information to ‘win big’ in life as John in the book ‘Having It All’ – BUY IT! And, if John recommends something… take heed! This man is a master teacher… God Bless you John! Smiles and best wishes, Bill

This book exceeded my expectations! Very well researched and presented and truly will raise your resilience to life’s setbacks. A gem of a book.

A favorite motto of mine is ‘Happiness is an ‘inside job’. I realized a long time ago that external circumstances cannot make me happy. While I used to believe that by force of will I could go after my goals and create my happiness via achieving degrees and things, it did not take me long to realize that the inner feelings of dis-satisfaction were only increasing with time. In looking back I now realize that the Law of Attraction was at work, in that, in the present moment, I was vibrating uneasiness and I was not really happy so I just kept attracting more inner ‘dis-ease’. Fortunately, I woke up before the DISEASE manifested in my physical body!

    Life IS Good!

I absolutely agree. You must have a well balance in all areas of life to be happy. Money alone will not make you happy.

  16. KieranNo Gravatar says:

For far too long, many of us have embraced the notion that when we (eventually) have money, we WILL be happy: I certainly fall into that category.

However, with life experience comes enlightenment (generally, provided we open our minds and our hearts to great ideas, where we are unafraid to embrace new ideology and embark on a new and exciting journey of enrichment).

Happiness is a state of mind and it’s only when we are fulfilled in this most prominent area of our life, we embrace all the positive aspects of existence, which help us to attract into our sphere, the wonderful things the Universe so generously gives us. Money and general abundance are of course two of those components.

I currently coach many very wealthy people who came to me, in a state of serious unhappiness about their lives and the direction in which they were traveling: I began by reminding them that life is a journey, on which like any road trip, it’s dangerous to embark unless you’re fully prepared. The health and general well-being of these individuals was suffering and their family lives were in general tatters. I’ve spent time with them, coaching them about the wonderful aspects of life – their lives – which have the capacity to turn their attitudes around and give them genuine and absolute fulfillment.

Joy, love, honesty, respect, understanding, compassion, tenderness, openness, commitment, self-respect and gratitude are just some of the ‘success forming elements’ which add depth, colour and HAPPINESS to one’s life: Where there is happiness, there is contentment, growth and prosperity.

    Enjoy life.

    Kieran

I do believe that overall happiness is the key to anyone’s success. Having recently discovered how “unhappy” I was and how the stress about money and relationships has been bogging me down the past few years; I hope that I’m on a new path to “happiness” using your techniques and resources like Marci’s book.

I would love to be happy for no reason!! I can not wait until I get Marci Shimoff’s book.

  20. MandeepNo Gravatar says:

I agree. And that’s why I love the last sentence you said on Bill’s Interview. “life is about loving and being grateful.”

I’ve researched a lot of successful people and most of the time you hear them say it’s never been about the money.

My friend told me that Napoleon Hill actually lost all his money in the stock market and was mad for only 5 minutes. 5 minutes. He just said “well, it’s only money, I’ll make it again.”
