I am not being negative but isn’t it a great hypnotic sales pitch. He’s got the strategies so buy in. Some people only take action and succeed, others have vampires within them and can’t take action. This all sounds like woo woo stuff. Learn, take action and rinse and repeat.

  1. Powerful Affirmations - Claus D JensenNo Gravatar says:

Great video, John! There is the POTENTIAL of an oaktree in the acorn. To become an oaktree it need the right conditions. Just like we people need to attract the right things to become what we want! It’s already there, but we need the right mindset to attract it! Sometimes that takes a reprogramming of the mind!
A great weekend to uoy too, John!
    Greetings from Denmark,
    Claus :-D

  2. Marcelyn QuerinoNo Gravatar says:

I agree with Clause the soil, weather conditions & location have to be right for the acorn to grow and become an oak tree. Thanks John for making me see the connection with the art of attraction then allowing. Marcelyn

  3. RichardNo Gravatar says:

The acorn holds the seed but it will need earth, water,& light to flourish.

  4. JuttaNo Gravatar says:

Dear John, a very stimulating question. The acorn has an inherent directed nature to become an oaktree. All it needs is to become a an oaktree is soil, water, sunshine and time and voila. Unlike humans who have a free will to make themselves into whatever they want.

  5. Livia DavisNo Gravatar says:

Everything is made of energy. The acorn vibrates at a certain frequency. When the acorn falls to the ground it attracts to it energy that matches its own vibration, from the earth, water, universe. The acorn only has one pattern of frequency it can send out. Only one mold so to speak, and so as it send out that frequency of vibration, it attracts like energy frequency and the acorn grows into a tree. — We humans, other the other hand, can mold a picture of anything we want with our thoughts and send those frequencies out in the universe – and to attract like energies. Wow, the power of choice we truly have. Livia, Cape Cod

  6. Dominic MacchiagodenaNo Gravatar says:

God is the universe; the idea of the oaktree is already in the acorn (internal condition)and when it meets the external conditions (fire (sun), air, water and earth), the energy deploys itself and creates the oaktree.
    Blessings to you John,
    Dominic

  7. IsabelNo Gravatar says:

The acorn is the seed. The “intention” to be an oak. Then it will grow step by step, with good or bad conditions to become a big and strong oak. It will give another acorns to transform in another oaks and so on.
Thanks John and have a nice weekend :)

  8. patriciaNo Gravatar says:

    in the accorn

  9. Grahame BrownNo Gravatar says:

    Hey John,
The oak tree is not in the acorn, only the potential for it’s future growth. The acorn needs to take the resources that it needs from the environment in order for the oak tree to grow. Have a great weekend.

  10. AshishNo Gravatar says:

Acorn is a dream, as James Allen said, “Dreams are the seedlings of realities”. As seed requires right atmosphere, guidance and nurturing; same goes to a “Dreams” and so with the Acorn. Oak tree is in the Universe but universe cannot give you an Oak tree if you do not have an Acorn. Hope everyone have a wonderful Diwali, May this festival of the lights be the light to guide us to our dreams and goals :)

  11. Caroyn SimiNo Gravatar says:

The acorn is a little thing that has big potential but it can’t realize that fulfillment without surrounding itself with the right conditions (soil, water, light, nutrients) and going into action by developing its innate qualities to grow into a beautiful Oak Tree.

  12. Ziona EtzionNo Gravatar says:

    John

Did you have to send out the email in the way you did!

    “I need some comments?!”

How about asking if the video touches a cord would you like to comment?

    or

Would you like to know something that you think I can share with you.

I think that we go on line to share and it is not only about the needs of one of us.

  13. ColinNo Gravatar says:

..word that you spoke.. because the atoms all resonate at the different frequencies.. good and bad.. to make up whatever we resonate at with our thoughts and desires etc. The trick is to know how to do that consciously and deliberately. Maybe your answer will provide the way to get a solid handle on this.. and in a truly tangible easy to apply way. As Claus says.. it is programming.. and being an acorn.. it is programmed to resonate to draw to it those elements/atoms that also resonate with the acorn’s ‘program’ which is to specificly become a particular tree.. an oak tree.. that in turn produces it’s own kind by creating more acorn ’seeds’. The difference in us humans.. unlike the acorn.. is that we have the choice of what we want to become by what we choose to resonate with.. the good.. or the bad.
So there’s my take on the acorn.. and a pleasant weekend to you from me here in New Zealand.
    Col.. B)

  14. DimitarNo Gravatar says:

Tree in the universe! We are not exactly originating things. Things have always been here. We are simply becoming aware of their presence in the variety of forms we are conditioned to perceive those things.
God can never be created or destroyed. Energy can never be crated or destroyed – just appears as different forms. So the acorn is just a holographic representation of something which is already here – the idea of an oak tree ;) .

  15. HeatherNo Gravatar says:

The oak tree is the result of everything tha is already deposited in the acorn. It just needs a little outside help from the rain, the sun, and the soil in order to grow up, up, up.

  16. MichaelNo Gravatar says:

The oak tree is in the beginning stages. It needs cetain conditions to be present for transformation to begin, Light soil water and nourishment. Have a great weekend!

  17. MikeNo Gravatar says:

    Hi John!

Just got to Sweden from Florida to regroup my company over here for the “shift” of the new economy that we are getting! I read and soaked up the inorfation in the FANTASTIC new book “Three Feet from Gold” on my way over here. Great book go and get it right now everybody! I know you are speaking at The event to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Think and Grow Rich next weekend in Anaheim, wish I could be there.

You have the sead…first you need to follow the LAW OF ATRACTION: You need to send out your thought’s that you want the acorn to become an oaktree.

Second: you need to apply THE LAW OF ACTION, you need to find some great soil in a great spot to plant the acorn.

Third: you need to let the power of THE LAW OF GESTATION to do it’s thing, and when the time is right VOILA! your oaktree will be there!

Life is good, Why not make it GREAT!

    Have a GREAT weekend!

    Mike

  18. ChristineNo Gravatar says:

The acorn doesn’t have a choice to be anything else than an oak tree. It is programmed that way. It just has to relax and let nature take care of the rest. But if you keep it in your hand, John, guess it’ll have problems :-)

    Love from France,
    Christine

  19. Kodanik66No Gravatar says:

    It sees itself as Oaktree!

  20. AntjeNo Gravatar says:

The tree is already inside the acorn. All it needs is an initial energetic kick (and of course the right external conditions such as sufficient earth and water) to grow.

  21. David MaccallumNo Gravatar says:

John: The Tree is within the seed. When the conditions are right the process will continue and the end result is – The Oak Tree.
    Cheers
    David

  22. Justin JamesNo Gravatar says:

As soon as the acorn is planted, the patterned plan sets up an attractive force and begins to attract everything that vibrates in harmony with it. It attracts all the necessary particles of energy from the ground and they begin to join up and grow. As it expands, little shoots grow out of the bottom, forming roots. Also they begin to grow upward, finally breaking through the earth. These top shoots then begin attracting molecules from the atmosphere, continuing the growth until one day, it becomes an oak tree.

  23. Lisa Martin-LaFaveNo Gravatar says:

It is one of the same, but in a different form. A much smaller on of course. You can easily place the acorn in your pocket. Try doing the same with an oak tree. Faith, in action (planting) will change the energy form into its know state, and oak tree.

  24. csNo Gravatar says:

The oak tree is with-in all of us, always. All we have to do is go there and ask for the appropriate acorn to fall NOW!

  25. Lisa WilliamsNo Gravatar says:

The oak tree is in the universe. The tree is already here, with infinite potential for expansion and growth.

Thank you, John for this inspiring video this fine Saturday morning!

  26. mark owensNo Gravatar says:

It becomes an oak tree by avoiding being crushed by the boot of a 200 lb hiker, by avoiding the lunch box of a hungry squirrel, by avoiding being the final ingredient in some crafty art teacher’s harvest wreathe. The acorn becomes the oak tree by surviving and perservering.

  27. DeidreNo Gravatar says:

The acorn is the oak tree. Under further correct conditions it just grows/developes into an oak tree.

  28. AndrewNo Gravatar says:

I think it’d down to the process of photosynthesis.

  29. Jonathan SmithNo Gravatar says:

G’mornin’ John! The acorn is in the universe, the ‘pattern plan’ is in the acorn. The acorn must be planted to attract everything required for it to grow into an oak tree. It does so because there’s a pattern or plan in its nucleus that controls the vibratory rate of the acorn, consequently, it controls what it attract to it, i.e., everything necessary for it to become an oak tree. The alternative is disintegration. Fortunately, we can control the vibration we’re in!

    Stay well,
    Jonathan

  30. MichaelNo Gravatar says:

The oak tree is subject to the acorn having the right conditions around it from the sun to the rain ….soil…..

  31. KirstenNo Gravatar says:

The oak tree is in the universe, and you can get to it through your mind.
Help me John get to the oak tree!!! lol

  32. DonaldNo Gravatar says:

Well, we all know that we can count the number of apples falling from a tree. But, only God knows the number of seeds in the apple. If we just take and plant those seeds from each apple, then we can see our apple orchard grow exponentially and beyond our wildest dreams.

    Let’s go for it! YO!

    Donald

  33. DavidNo Gravatar says:

As I understand it, the acorn is programmed to become a seedling. The seedling is programmed to grow. It attracts matter from the soil around it, water, air, until it starts to die and decay- starting the cycle again.

  34. John MaguireNo Gravatar says:

The oak tree exists in consciousness, the field of energy and intelligence which surrounds and envelops the acorn. Looking forward to hearing your response.

  35. MatthewNo Gravatar says:

The acorn is literally the ’seed of potential’ for the tree as it pulls/attracts all the necessary nutrients from the earth and sun to develop into the tree.

  36. Scott RenwickNo Gravatar says:

Oak tree is an idea, encoded into the acorn, the acorn therefore vibrates in a specific manner that correlates with this idea, this vibration resonates with like vibrations and thus draws into contention the nessecary forms of energy for the idea to manifest.

The oaktree is therefore in energy form, which is present in the universe in abundance and can only take shape or manifest when thought is impressed upon it. or in this case an encoded idea.

  37. SherylNo Gravatar says:

The oak tree is in the acorn and the acorn is in this phyical reality in the here and now because we have brought into being by our consciousness. All is created by us and by us I mean collectively. We are all Source Energy, God, Spirit, or vibratory being, whatever you feel comfortable calling it, we are all one, creating our “own” belief of the universe. We believe the acorn will become an oak tree because our collective experience has shown us that it will. What we believe, think about, dwell on is what we attact, what we attract is what is.

  38. MeenaNo Gravatar says:

I agree that the acorn has all the potential to become a great oak given the right conditions. Or it can be dug up and eaten by a passing squirell.

  39. Larry GreenNo Gravatar says:

Neither in nor out but waiting for the law of gestation to take effect.

  40. Virgilio A. SantosNo Gravatar says:

The oak tree has always been inside the acorn; but in order for the acorn to produce the oak tree, it has to be planted in clean, fertile soil continuously nurtured and watered and given the right environment as well as the right amount of sunshine.

  41. Corinne JUDAHNo Gravatar says:

The miracle if the seeds acoording to its kinds.
    Chickenegg chick, Human egg embryo.
looking fwds to your comments.Shabat Shalom. Corinne.

  42. RobertaNo Gravatar says:

Tree is in the acorn we need only add the other things that help make up the tree. The cookies are in the butter as long as we add the other ingredients and heat!

  43. Teena Louise Vannucci-DownsNo Gravatar says:

The acorn is the oaktree. It just needs to be norished the correct way to grow

  44. Christine CampbellNo Gravatar says:

The ‘oak tree’ is the acorn’s greatest potential contained within it. The acorn doesn’t try to do or be anything, it doesn’t worry about being used as food for squirrels and other animals. It just is. Unlike humans, there is no struggle so it sends out a clear & pure signal of positive energy thus attracting its highest potential to itself naturally.

  45. SylviaNo Gravatar says:

The acorn must change its vibration. I agree with Claus, the POTENTIAL is there, and it needs the right conditions, but change is necessary – otherwise it’s just squirrel food. I also agree with Dimitar – the tree is already there. Another lesson – not all acorns become oak trees though they all have the potential within. Love and Light Sylvia

  46. Andrew HortonNo Gravatar says:

The acorn is the seed that contains the potential to become an amazing oak tree. All it needs to do to realize this potential is draw all the nutrients, energy and moisture it needs from its environment and it will grow into a beautiful oak tree. Once these conditions have been met, the acorn grows into the tallest oak tree it can, the universe allows everything to realize its full potential.
Inside everyone of us is that acorn of potential, all we need to do to realize that potential and become our own magnificent Oak tree is to create the correct conditions in our lives that will draw the right people, resources, skills and knowledge into our lives so we they can become the tallest most magnificent oak tree in the forest called life.

  47. Sandra BNo Gravatar says:

From what I remember from reading your book, The Answer – Inside the acorn is only the possibility of an oak tree. The potential of the oak tree is scattered in pieces throughout its environment – until planted, then things that resonate with the oak tree are drawn to it — it other words, it attracts the things it needs to become an oak tree — water, sunlight, etc.

  48. RevaNo Gravatar says:

    Using the old english proverb…
“Great oaks from little acorns grow.”
Have patience and allow time and maturity to fuel the energy of attaction

  49. Jim BolducNo Gravatar says:

The Oak tree is inside the shell and once it is buried and watered it will start to grow. However it needs the dirt and water and TLC

  50. NormNo Gravatar says:

The oak tree is in the mind of Spirit or God. The code is in the seed.

When I am trying to meditate I have noticed that I begin to feel “sleepy” but than when I go to bed I just can’t get sleep, like my brain was working with great energy, is this normal? or am I meditating in a wrong way?

    John, Hi
just a short line to say i am enjoying the book The Answer (paperback) all the while reading it though i cannot get out of my mind a quote from an individual i admire and respect.. Gibran Kahlil Gibran when he said: “you are what you think, all that you are arises with your thoughts, and with your thoughts you create you FUTURE” originally a Ghandi quote except GKG swapped the last word from WORLD to FUTURE. Please enjoy my promo video on Gibran a work in progress documentary (see link above) would love to know what you thought!

  14. GEORGE JOSEPHNo Gravatar says:

” The Answere ” was awesome.
Unlike James Ray I can see the sincerety in you. James Arthur Ray has given the whole self imporovement industry a bad name and for no good reason. His practises were so outlandish, dangerous and so far removed from the teachings of “Secret”. Now because of him, even the book and all it espoused has been given a bad name.
James Arthur Ray may in some way be your collegue in the industry but you must come out in condemnation for his dangerous and fraudulent activities if not of the man himself.

Hi John, your message was great. It confirmed some ideas I considered strange and explained a lot of things that had been confusing. I thank God I was there live in Lagos. I’ll love to have more of such teachings. Thanks.

Ok – this is SCARY!!! If thisn’t Law of Attraction, I DON’T KNOW WHAT IS. Haven’t check this blog in AGES – And I really mean AGES. This morning, I was discussing some concepts from Mr. Assaraf’s first book “The Street Kid’s Guide To Having It All”, esp. the concept, “To Have More You must BE MORE, not just DO MORE…”. But why do I say it’s scary? Because a little while before that, we were discussing OUR LIFE IN NIGERIA when I was a child (my mom used to work in Nigeria). It was eery. I just happened to be sitting in front of the computer and a really loud voice said “why don’t you check John Assaraf’s website”. Man! Thanks for going to Nigeria and by the way he looks great in traditional African attire. Nigerians are very entrepreneurial and need an outlet for their creativity that is positive and law-abiding. YOU ROCK JOHN!

Photos from Africa

Hey friends,

Here are some photos taken in Nigeria this week at the event I spoke at called “The Platform”. It was sponsored by Pastor Poju of Covenant Church. He had read my book “The Answer” and saw the movie “The Secret” and wanted to expose the thinking and process of manifestation to the Nigerian people. 25,000 or so showed up and it was awesome. Here are some photos of the event, my bodyguards and more. I’ll write an article on the trip this week.

By the way, I’m holding a LIVE Q&A call this Thursday about my personal mentorship program. Ask me your questions about how to have your dreams become reality! Sign up here.

Hope you enjoyed!

John

Thank you very much for honoring the invitation to speak to us on the
PLATFORM in Lagos Nigeria, I was privileged to be there and all you
said were quite amazing. And I believe you because I HAVE THE MIND OF
    A MILLIONIARE now.

However, seing that you started as a young man of 19, it should be
more easier for you than for me who by July will be 45 years of age,
and am just discovering what I should have known in my twenties.

Please I need your personal attention and help in order not to be
frustrated. I have a family to care for, but I am not meeting up, I
have a new business to grow it is quite tasking am yet to break even,
    am only existing.

I do not want to blame my disability (paraplegia) becauae Your words
have given me good hope but please I need more re-enforcement in any
way you deem it best for me.

Are You are too busy to mentor me? Then recommend me to someone while
I still get your attention from time to time.

    Your No 1 Nigerian Convert,

  19. JohnNo Gravatar says:

Seems I will coronate John with an “Igwe” or a “High Chief” or say an “Otunba”. All of that are Nigerian titles to show acceptability to someone who has influenced your community. I was there on Friday, 1st and it was a time to commence exploding into manifestation.
I dragged most of young friends to the event because I have read some of your work and it was awesome.
I know you have made an indelible mark and results will start to flow henceforth.
How was Paris and hope you had a nice time ministering there too.
