It’s not your fault

Have you ever wondered what’s really holding you back from achieving all your dreams and making the money you really want to make?

Well, worry no more. It’s not your fault. The latest research of the most advanced information on the human brain and its effects on our success uncovers truly revolutionary insight.

Here are just a few of the newest neuro-scientific discoveries that are blowing away scientists:

1. It is now known that humans think on 6 different levels at once, yet only one sixth of it is at a conscious level.

This means that 83% of the time you are acting automatically at a non-conscious level. This explains why just making a decision is nowhere nearly enough if you want to improve any of your results. You must re-train your brain if you want to achieve more. This is also why diets don’t work.

2. Another great discovery is that non-conscious brain cells (neurons) can detect and pick up information up to 800 times faster than conscious neurons. The good news is that you can now train these faster brain cells to work for you, not against you. This is absolutely using your real power and not just 17% of your real abilities.

3. A third great discovery has to do with your Amygdala. This part of the brain has been conditioned at a very young age by your parents, teachers and the events in your life.

The Amygdala doesn’t like change and will release neuro-transmitters anytime you try to change something in your life. Any deviation from what is your norm right now sets this off and basically causes you to revert back to your old patterns of thoughts and behaviors. This explains why most people have a hard time leaving a job or relationship they aren’t totally happy with.

It also explains why people stay at the same income bracket year after year. It may not be what they want, but it’s what they are accustomed to and conditioned to expect.

So if you wondered what was holding you back from achieving all your dreams and making the money, don’t worry. It’s not your fault.

Best,
John

Ok..it seems easy enough to say, “It’s not my fault I believe the things I picked up early in life.”
But HOW do you allow the changes that are neccesary to come about with the least amount of resistance from this internal struggle????

How do you reprogram the amygdala?

    Hello

It has taken me 10 years to even begin to re-program,loving, forgiving and letting go of hose who abused me as a child. Re-programming is ongoing and it was not easy to start with. I just totally immerse myself in anything and everything to do with Personal Development, the LOA, as well as learn what I can from those who have already achieved. You strike rocky roads as I have done, but faith and per-sistence and belief in yourself is the key. If someone tries to give their opinion to you and have not acheieved where you want to be, then do not listen to them! Love them and let go!

In time people will see a change in your persona.

    Hi all,
Our brain is a trcky and very powerful tool. With all the new advancements it makes it much easier. One of the very best and easy things to do is daily visualization of what you want to feel, see and have happen in your life. Let go of the past, see yourself letting go and feeling great. Emotionalize it now and your brain will begin to change and create new and much more powerful neral circuits or patterns. That is the very first and easy step- 3-5 minutes a day is all you need.

    Hi John and the rest!
I am new here. Hey thanks for all the emails from John ( I like the 7 out of 8 emails I received on the natural laws ).

Anyway, the “AMYGDALA” ? I hope some doctor comes out with a new surgery so that it can be removed. That’s it! And from there you will change

    Hello,

When recurring issues surface for me, I understand that a choice must be made at that very instant. I can choose to allow the thought or the reaction to the thought to command my attention and let myself continue in that direction or I can choose to acknowledge the thought and immediately replace that thought with a thought of my own choosing. Preferably, a priorly emotionalized visualization of what I have desired to achieve or obtain.

Sometimes this is not so easily done in a hectic, stressful environment, but that environment would have been of my choosing as well.
The power of choice, for me, is one of the three greatest powers I possess.
    With gratitude,
    Dean

    Hey John:
I followed your eight part e-mail series on the 7 natuaral laws, Have seen the “SECRET”. Right now I just don’t have some extra $ to buy your “Street Kids Guide Book…” Never mind. In my life, I’ve been a laid back person most of the time, but your stuff has changed me. I am getting more and more enthused about this stuff.
One question: I read an darticle that said, SILENCE IS POWER. It warns me not to share your goals with others until the results have surfaced completely. Is that true ?

That is interesting, Waas, as I just read that same thing today in Deepak Chopra’s book The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success. He mentions in the chapter on the fifth law, The Law of Intention and Desire, to follow five steps to fulfilling your desires.

Step three is to remain in the state of self-referral (established in the awareness of your true Self). He goes on to say “A helpful way to maintain that state of self-referral is to keep your desires to yourself; do not share them with anyone else unless they share the exact same desires you have and are closely bonded with you.”

I hope it is OK that I quoted from his book online.

He also states one reason for this is so you will not be influenced by the opinions and criticisms of others.

I also wonder how John feels about this

    John,
I just want to thank you for being such a kind person as to want to try to help all of us.
I received a few days ago “Having it All” and I love it. I listen to it everyday.
I wish I knew someone like you for one on one training!
    Thank you so much……

I found it comforting to hear “it’s not your fault” I thought about how after years of counseling I was able to tell my mother the same thing and how much better she felt at the time.
We are all products of those who raised us and how our education in how to believe what we do, from the family values we had.. and many times they were not of the highest caliber.

While I can embrace the thought, “it’s not your fault,” I like to actually own all events in my experience. That way I feel I have the power to change them to something that feels better.
I just keep reminding myself that it was the “old” me that created an experience that doesn’t suit me, and now the “new” me can create a better match.
Thanks, John, for all your offerings.

I have a hard time letting myself off the hook so easily. Over the last couple of years, I have seen The Secret many times, read a lot of books, learned about the Sodona method of letting go, learned about resistence from Abraham-Hicks, read about how to change habits, listened for hours from many well known and some of the best, authors, teachers, mentors and coaches.
I know what I need to do. I know the habits of visualization and meditation and others that I need to make a part of my life and yet have not. Reading about the Amygdala may explain some things. But I cannot help but think about all the successful people who have “made it” without all the tools that I have at my disposal.
However, I feel that “success” is just around the corner for me. My focus has been like a laser for several months now and I am constantly being given ideas and hunches and information that I have acted on.
While the mentors in my life will admit that they, too, have had help in the way of other people, “success” seems to come so easily to them. For me, I have been studying myself (self development)for two years with major focus and changes in the last couple of mnoths. Is it taking me THAT long to reprogram my Amygdala? Why is it that others seem to reprogram theirs instantly? (so to speak)
For people who have never heard of The Secret, have never read a self-help book or listened to a motivational speaker, they could use the “excuse” of their Amygdala. But I have a hard time putting the blame on mine.
This information was very benefical though in understanding myself and others better. I really appreciate the information and added knowlege in how people think. (including myself)It sure was interesting to learn.
