We’re getting a lot of messages about scarcity now.
I want to talk to you about abundance.

We’re at one of those points in history. A pivotal point that can make or break people’s fortunes forever.

While so many are focusing on the gloom and doom of the sinking economy, I have made up my mind to rise above it, to even greater heights. And I want to take you with me – if you’re really up for it.

Here’s the story: Everybody has greatness within them. I truly believe that. It may be squelched right now, but let me put it this way: You have within you the genius to achieve all of your goals, including:

Just for a minute, block out all of the negativity being thrown at you right now, and imagine all of that abundance in your life…

Are you with me so far? OK, now if you can create that mental vision of true wealth for yourself… and actually put yourself inside it, so that you can touch, taste, smell, and feel what it’s like to live your own life of abundance… then you are more than halfway to achieving it.

If you are able to do that, and truly believe it, you may qualify for an exciting new program I’ve created. It’s called the Having It All Private Mastermind, and here’s how it works:

For 2009, I personally choose no more than 25 individuals who are truly committed to manifesting true wealth in their lives… and I will personally mentor them in an intimate group setting, including three in-person meetings, for six entire months.

Clearly, this is not for everyone. My time is limited, so this is a very exclusive program. But if you have the desire and the resources to commit to truly transforming your life, I can guarantee you that we will make an incredibly positive impact on the future course of your life.

What qualifies me to do this? Look, I don’t mean to brag, but I have started or run a series of phenomenal multimillion-dollar businesses. Instead of “retiring” with my wealth, I have devoted myself to learning everything there is to know about how neuroscience and quantum physics relate to human achievement. Through film, TV and radio, I have reached millions of people with the message that they really can achieve their most important life goals. And I’ll be personally showing you exactly how to achieve what you truly want in your life …

It’s simple, really. There’s a yin/yang to every cycle. So while everyone focuses on the world going to hell in a hand-basket, there’s a corresponding movement of extremely positive energy happening. That’s exactly what we are going to align with and ride.

The mastermind format requires that you bring a strong commitment to success. We’ll be meeting online, on the phone, and ultimately in person, for the regular, real-time personal interaction that makes this format so much more powerful than any book, film, CD, or one-time seminar.

I’ve done this before and believe me, it is an AMAZING journey.

To learn more about my Having It All Private Mastermind, complete the form at www.JohnAssaraf.com/mastermind and we will contact you. If you are chosen, this will be a transformational step in your life. You’ll be able to leverage all of my experience, and all the passion and energy of your peers in the Having It All Mastermind Program to create true wealth— financial, physical, emotional, and spiritual—in your life, now!

To you Having It All!

Positive Self-Talk for Effective New Year’s Resolutions

Hi Friends,

We’re approaching the start of a brand-new year, which means many of us are rigorously setting fresh goals and forming New Year’s resolutions. Do you find yourself reflecting on last year’s resolutions and feeling disappointed that you did not see them through? One of the primary reasons for not achieving goals is negative self-talk.

Self-talk is internal conversation with yourself, like your own personal chatter. In order to be open to beneficial opportunities, and have a positive outlook on life, yourself, and others, you must avoid using negative self-talk.

Here are some examples of self-talk:

Negative Self-Talk

Positive Self-Talk

Make a conscious effort to monitor the way you process information. If you are constantly dwelling on past issues and using negative words to describe yourself, or your goals, you must make a habit of retraining your brain. Self-talk actually sends messages to your subconscious brain to form habits that coincide with what you are thinking.

If you continue to use the same negative self-talk, your subconscious will keep your habits aligned with the familiarity of past (and possibly bad) habits. On the flip side, using positive self-talk aids in reprogramming your brain to start forming goal-oriented habits. You will be on your way to realizing those New Year’s goals before you know it!

Need more guidance on how to achieve positive self-talk? I am offering my program Having It All at $50 off until Dec. 25! Use coupon code “2008GIFT” at checkout – be sure to click “Apply” for the discount before submitting your order. Check it out now!

Happy holidays!

I think this is the must vital piece of information for ANYONE who wants to turn their life around – thanks for bringing this up at such an important time John

  2. Nickolove LovemoreNo Gravatar says:

Many individuals are actually unaware of how negative their self-talk is. What a person says to themselves internally is generally reflected by the things they actually say.

    Rob Bremer said,

“If you had a friend who talked to you like you sometimes talk to yourself, would you continue to hang around with that person?”

And the answer is that many people wouldn’t. A coach can help draw your awareness to your self-talk, particularly when it’s negative so that you can work on improving it.

  3. georgeNo Gravatar says:

from what I read and I am not the best reader, that the self – talk should be about the ego.just think how much it gets in the way of keeping any resolution from being completed.could it be because of not loveing oneself(honestly and truly) and saying (10-20 times a day)how thankful one is for what one has.understand that if the resolution does not come from the combined feelings of the mind, the heart, and the menta a resolution will never come to be. one must ask how open is ones mind?how big is ones ego?how much does one love oneself?how many have people have one forgiven?how many times has one said thank you?if all of the above questions are have a positive answer then there is a better chance all resolutions being completed!wish everyone change from negative thinking to positive thinking to have a wonderful new year.

    John,
I would like to express my gratitude for your work. I recently bought the Having it all audio program and the BONUS audio has become part of my daily morning and evening meditation.
Today’s blog and the deep seated belief of not being good enough came in my life from growing up in a communist country Romania, and my absent father made me always go into the direction of “not good enough”.
I love your approach of science and spiritual and my life has changed drastically since the first time I saw the movie “The Secret”.
I heard you say that your mother is from Romania. I wonder if you speak Romanian. I grow up with three languages: Hungarian,German and Romanian.
You are making a great contribution to human kind and I spread the word wherever I go.
Love you John, and you are so good looking too! :)

Avoid failure: Take the first step

I’ve often been asked, “What do you think is the biggest contributing factor to failure?”

I can easily answer that question with one word… inaction.

To succeed, you have to do something, something that will move you toward what you want. When you’re not moving toward what you want, you’re suffering in what you don’t want. It’s like quicksand, and you get stuck there. It paralyzes you, so that just taking the first step seems unachievable.

But the first step is better than the quicksand because it’s one step closer to where you want to be and what you want to be doing. And that inaction is what kills more businesses and relationships than anything else.

Avoid failure… take action!

I’ve stumbled upon an amazing way to get myself to take on a challenge I haven’t taken action on.

I used to delay action because I thought I didn’t break down the steps I needed to take.

I would look at the problem and my mind would start finding the reasons I couldn’t do so I could put a bandage over my self esteem.

Then, I came across this awesome strategy in Steve Chandler’s book, Mind Shift.

What you do is get a sheet of paper and write your problem on the top…

    Let’s say it’s…

I Allow Myself To Release Any Excess Fat Off of My Body

The next line you’d put would say…

5 Small Things I Can Do About This Today

    An example might be…

    1. Read 15 minutes about health and vitality.

    2. Walk/Exercise for at least 10 minutes.

    3. Eat smaller meals every 2 ½ hours.

    4. Drink ½ liter of water before I eat.

    5. Make sure 80% of the food I take in gives me energy rather than drains my energy stores.

Each of these steps are easy to do and easy not to.

But I guarantee you, anyone who can read and move their limbs on planet earth is capable of pulling this off.

And I also guarantee that if you do these steps you’ll start losing weight.

    Overnight, no. Over weeks, yes.

Try this, I think you’ll like it.

I remember a Sponsor of mine in a former business some years ago murmuring and complaining about not being able to move her stock. This was because she kept her business a deep, dark, SECRET-from all of her family, friends, and neighbors-Anybody wonder now WHY she couldn’t sell? Once she began TELLING people about her products, guess what? You’re so right-her stock finally moved off her shelf! TAKE ACTION!

  3. BradleyNo Gravatar says:

    John,

I was surfing through some online video as part of some research that I was doing and I watched a clip of you and Bob Proctor on the Ellen show. And during that interview, you also mentioned how important it is to take action. I whole-heartedly agree! This step was something that I struggled with for years. But once that first step is taken, then the next step is easier, and so on and so on… Next thing you know, you’ve got some really great habits developed and living life feels great! So, thank you, John, for reminding everyone how important it is to do something about the knowledge in our minds!

As Leand Val Van DeWall said:

  5. Dr. Dennis ClarkNo Gravatar says:

Taking action is closely tied to persistence. Calvin Coolidge get some recognition for a longish quote on this subject. It doesn’t matter whether I take a wrong action as long as I am continually doing something. I can correct a past ineffective activity; I have no way to correct a past non-activity.

  7. IvetteNo Gravatar says:

taking that first step is a process that does not come immidiately. and the more you delay the further your intentions become unreachable. so take inch by inch; step by step; and before you know you are there. i have begun taking baby steps; and am finding myself moving along to take larger ones. but patience is a virture and that is one thing that each individual must maintain if they want to succeed. thanks John for sharing

Every day now we get another wave of news about rising unemployment, failing businesses and banks teetering on collapse.

The point is that some people are like addicted to this bad feeling. Whatever it happens to be – a fear of recessions, depressions, regressions or whatever it is. They are so used to it, that they do not even realize they want to get out of the situation! Which is stunning, from my perspective. But it seems a lot of people really just don’t want to get something better! They pretend they do, or they’re like “I should want this, right?”, but they don’t actually desire it. And this definitely is a dead end for some “believers”. So if someone is sitting there wondering why is it now working for me, they should ask themselves the question “Do I actually feel comfortable being broke and unhappy”… We are all different though ;]

  4. Nickolove LovemoreNo Gravatar says:

The current economic climate can be regarded as scary and it can also be regarded as exciting. Think of a rollercoaster. Some people find the experience exhilarating while others are petrified by the same experience.

I was listening to an interview with Bill Bartmann today. He said that he is now 60 years old and that in his lifetime he has lived through several recessions. So this is not the first recession and it certainly won’t be the last.

As sure as night follows day the economy will rebound. And those of us who learn to adapt and thrive during this time will be in an even stronger position once the economy improves.

As you’ve said we have to feed our mind and our spirit with the best information. And we have to apply this information to our personal lives and our businesses.

We can use the current environment to make ourselves stronger rather than weaker.

Tip: Record an audio of your visualization

Hi friends,

As you already know (and have posted comments about), making a recording of yourself talking about your new belief, then listening to that audio twice or more a day can be extremely beneficial. This method of reprogramming is effective for all kinds of beliefs, ranging from health to wealth, from business success to charitable contribution, from relationships to spirituality, from productivity to creativity. Your main time investment will be up front in making the recording, which can be as simple (just your recorded voice) or as elaborate (including music, sound effects, and so on), as short (just five minutes) or as long (half an hour) as you like. After your recording is complete, you can listen to it while driving, as you go to sleep, as your “alarm” to wake you up in the morning. Be creative!

Creating a recording can help you reach your goals. To write the script…

1) Imagine what your life will be like as a result of achieving your goal, and
2) Describe it all in the present tense, as if it’s already happening.

A script to be used for the goal of running a half marathon might start like this:

I love how it feels to run because my body is in such great condition. I can feel my heart working, and my breath is strong and even. My quadriceps and calves are tested but don’t burn out. I am a healthy, vibrant person who respects the body as the amazing vessel it is: home to my soul. I am in the zone and running better than I ever have before. I am getting faster and stronger every day…

As you reprogram yourself and listen to your audio, you can also add other visualization techniques have learned. Top athletes visualize religiously, because they know it unlocks potential at a level that analysis and even physical practice don’t reach. By repeatedly visualizing the outcome you want, you create new cells of recognition in your subconscious. This way, your body gets used to that behavior and then expects it. To use your recording to help you visualize, instead of just listening passively to the recording, close your eyes and picture everything happening exactly as you hear yourself describe it. (Not a good idea while running or driving, but you can do this at other times.) It’s as if you’ve created a “movie” you can play over and over in your mind. Try it!

If you need more help with achieving your life’s goals and dreams (or want to take goal achieving to the next level) then check out my program. I’m offering it at $50 off until Dec. 25 so that you can immediately get started on your goals for the New Year. Just use coupon code “2008GIFT” when you check out. It works wonders hearing your own voice and with time you actually get used to it and like it!

This idea seems like it would fit with what Tony Robbins talks about with incantations.

He says you’re won’t get the full benefit out of what he teaches if you don’t do this.

With his he has statements of what he wants to become like “I’m a lean mean healthy machine”, or “I now command my subconscious to direct to by giving me the strength, the humor, the brevity whatever it takes get me to be a better salesperson today.”

The difference between what he does and affirmations is that he says you say these while moving (walking or exercising) and out loud with power not mumbled.

You could do the same with your recorded ideal lifestyle.

You could just follow along with what your saying and before long you’d have it memorized and wouldn’t need the recording.

I imagine this would speed up your memorization because you’re saying it out loud instead of just hearing it.

Kinda of like songs you love. You sing them out loud if you’re not shy or you’re alone and you sing them in your head if your not by yourself.

    I’m gonna try this.

A number of mentors, (including myself) receive questions on a regular basis asking for guidance on how to move beyond various obstacles.

We hear of a plethora of problems, such as:

It can be heart-wrenching to hear stories of the horrific torment some people are going through.

Therefore I’m honored and excited to tell you that I have been asked to be part of a multi-media compilation that includes myself and 49 other mentors. Our purpose is to guide you through the rough times many are experiencing right now.

The name of the book compiled by Linda Forsythe is called, “Walking With the Wise for Overcoming Obstacles.”

But this is no ordinary hard-copy “book”… it is also an e-book that includes $25,000 worth of bonuses! What makes the book unique is that each one of us has overcome a significant obstacle of our own in the past. Understand that this NOT a book of “woes.”  It is a book teaching you how to OVERCOME what is standing in your way.

Great concept for a book. I think this topic has the potential to become the next chicken for the soup soul series.

    You know…

    Walking with the wise..

    Overcoming obstacles in internet marketing…

Overcoming obstacles in becoming a chef…

Overcoming obstacles in becoming a single father…

    Overcoming obstacles in goal setting…

    The list is endless.
