If you were a computer programmer, and the program you created wasn’t doing what you wanted it to do, what would you do? You’d rewrite it, wouldn’t you? Your own “programs” should be no different. You’ve already identified the areas you need to change and created a plan to change them. Now all you need to do is rewrite that program — by bombarding your subconscious.
You already know how to implant new beliefs, and you should be integrating at least one new belief right now. What method of “reprogramming” are you using? Do you write your new beliefs down? Do you look at a collage? Do you listen to a tape? Have you added visualization to your routine, seeing yourself living the life of your dreams? No matter which methods you use, you are bombarding your subconscious with that new belief, and it will have no choice but to give in.
What’s my personal visualization process?
I used to have a little recorder, and I would tape myself saying my new belief and play it over and over. Then I would write out my new belief and read it over and over. Now, I visualize that I’m already there. I’m going to my computer hardware (my subconscious) and I’m taking out the old disk (belief) and putting in the new disk (belief), and it’s replacing the old one. I just keep seeing this over and over again. I visualize that all the programs in my head are disks. And I get to the point where that image is in my head all the time–it has become a habit. Which is perfect, because your subconscious rests as much as your heart or your blood–never! The method I use changes, because I’m constantly changing. If I feel a method isn’t working for me any more, I change it. There are plenty of methods to choose from!
If you really want to jump start your visualization and goal achieving process, then I highly encourage you to check out my program called Having It All. And guess what? To celebrate the holiday season I’m offering $50 off on the program. Just use the coupon code “2008GIFT” when you check out.

What would you say if I offered you a sneak peak into the latest book from an expert who has helped thousands of people reach their financial goals… and nearly 600 others become millionaires?
Hopefully, you would say… ‘Yes! Where do I get it?’
Loral Langemeier is a New York Times best selling author, “Money Expert” on Dr. Phil Show’s, and my dear friend. If you already know the power of Loral’s work, I am going to cut right to the chase.
Click Here to get your sneak peak at her amazing new book Get Off Your Lazy Assets
Click Here to buy Get Off Your Lazy Assets for only $24.95.
If you are unfamiliar with Loral and her work, let me tell you a little something about her.
For the last seven years, Loral has helped thousands of people reach their financial goals with her three-to-five year wealth-building plan. This incredible accomplishment has earned her the title of The Millionaire Maker.
Now, she has allowed me to give you a sneak peak inside her latest book, ‘Get Off Your Lazy Assets.’ The really cool part about ‘Get Off Your Lazy Assets’ is that it is being delivered in an amazing multimedia format I have never seen before. In this interactive, multimedia book, Loral teaches you how to uncover your talents, turn those talents into value, leverage that value by enrolling resources, and connect those resources with opportunities.
The methods are clear, concise, and organic — it’s like downloading the information right to your brain. This book is an invitation to participate in a process, not just a thought or a feeling, but a step-by-step, tried and true method, that uncovers the secret to becoming and having everything you ever wanted.
Now you have a choice to make.
Choice #1 – Click Here to get your sneak peak at ‘Get Off Your Lazy Assets’
Choice #2 – Click Here to buy ‘Get Off Your Lazy Assets’ for only $24.95.
Choice # 3 - Do nothing and stay stuck where you are, creating the same results day in and day out.
For those of you hesitating to take action in this moment, let me leave you with these parting words from Loral.
“In the past couple decades, we have been living a have-to, not a want-to life, and people act as if they have no choice, no options. This is such a waste of talent, of value, of resources and of opportunity. There has been a sense of entitlement in this country, that was not then, and especially not now profitable or even sustainable. Most people are capable of making their dreams come true. Yet, as if waiting for permission, they sit on the sidelines, not getting in the game, wishing for change, but too afraid to profit from their own abilities. You don’t have a fixed potential, so why live on a fixed income?”
Don’t be one of these people. Take action today and make a difference in your tomorrow.

This woman has access to some of the top marketing coaching on the planet so if you don’t get off your lazy ass and buy her book to ensure yourself a cozy financial future… at least pay attention to the way she’s trying to sell this book.
When you follow the link you go to a landing page that lets you hear her voice.
Smart. Makes her a real person in this cybermedia.
Then if you want to get the free chapter she asks you for your email.
Smart again.
Where I feel like the person writing for her got lazy was on the order form.
The centering of all the paragraphs in that teeny little font was bothersome for me.
I’m also reading this in firefox so that makes a difference.
I also don’t think the bonuses were given necessary attention.
The last thing to pay attention to is how she pulled a Ted Nicholas and copyrighted her ad/landing pages.
She must have learned from everybody and their pet rock copying Eben Pagan’s page.
I’ll be anxious to see how this format of book does.

One idea about generating income that has helped me is distinction between wealth and money.
The more we focus on wealth, a state of consciousness revolving around abundance and gratitude, the easier it is to attract more money.

If you own a business, you’d probably be interested in learning some practical steps that you can take right now to grow that business — regardless of the state of the economy.
I hosted a webinar on that topic Tuesday evening. More than 2,100 people registered – and they got some action steps that they are putting into place right now to find more clients, and increase their sales, revenues and profits.
The response to this event was so overwhelmingly positive that I’ve made our recession-proofing webinar available here.
There’s no charge, and you will definitely gain some practical tips and tools that will help you grow your business (and sleep better at night) through the tough times and right into the economic recovery.
When you have the right mindset, you can see opportunities where others see only challenges.
This could actually be the perfect time to build your business — while your competitors are retreating. Check out my recession-proofing webinar, and tell you business-owning friends to check it out too.
Then plan to make 2009 your best year yet!

I have seen again and again how fear based thinking and anxiety cause negative results in peoples’ lives – and yet, I continue to thrive and make new contacts and BE HEPPY AND Expectant of success. Why? Well, if you are worried, scared, anxious, frustrated – life will definitely give you more of that. When you “feel” that way, distract yourself NOW. This is the biggest lesson to learn. John is magnificent in pointing out how our habits CREATE us. SO, in real life terms…. let’s say you are pissed off at your wife or husband, let’s say you are worried about bills and paying things; let’s say you are scared for some other reason… well, it is time to look back at YOU and the powerful life and soul you are. You have simply forgotten for a small period of tim. Connect back now. How fortunate we are to have these webinars.
Love, light and life, oh… everlasting life tro you all. It’s a game. Play like it’s fun. -
I’m so glad this webinar is available to all business owners! Give yourself the gift of viewing it.
There’s a pretty good chance that I might be feeling fear, doubt, anxiety, and probably considering giving up during these times (or any others!)–if I weren’t a OneCoach member. It’s given my business wings.
More money, more business, more life–INDEED!

John, enjoyed how you explained about the brain. Understanding how our brain functions is a good plus in how we can sell our service. thanks again

I was among the 2,000plus people who attended the webinar. I must say that the info you all provide, as usual, is extremely clear and accurate. Thank you for making us look at reality from a different and constructive perspective. Edgardo

Dreams do come true! Talk show star Oprah Winfrey revealed this week that she uses a vision board to visualize her goals and harness the power of intention. So what did Oprah have on her vision board? The gown she intended to wear to a very special event – the Obama inauguration.
Here’s what Oprah told a New York radio station on Tuesday:
“I was speaking with Michelle [Obama] and Caroline Kennedy and Maria Shriver – we were all doing a big rally out in California. At the end of the rally Michelle Obama said something powerful, ‘and I want you to leave here and envision Barack Obama taking the oath of office.’ I created a vision board. I had never had a vision board before. I came home, I got me a board and put Barack Obama’s picture on it and I put a picture of my dress I want to wear to the inauguration.”
Want some tips on how to put the power of intention to work with your own vision board? Go to TheVisionBoardKit.com for a downloadable free chapter that includes the eight basic ingredients of a successful vision board. You can achieve your dreams!

POWERFUL!!! Thank you for sharing Oprah and thank YOU too John!

i must be using it in reverse cos im just not seeing it yet, i know it works but!?!!!good luck with your new leader, fresh eyes see new visions thanks

The visual element of manifesting desires is a POWERFUL PROCESS. I used it to attract all of the celebrities for my new book
Thanks for the amazing reminder John! -
Thanks for sharing! I think many of us had that vision – maybe not on such a personal level, but I know that every time I started thinking about a McCain-Palin victory, I’d consciously switch from feelings of dread to visualizing an exciting Obama-Biden victory!
The most exciting thing about this post, in my opinion, is that the Obamas know the Secret…and just think of the amazing things they can do with that – and all of the positive energy that is clearly circling the country (if not the globe)!
It is very exciting to be part of this new chapter…

Today I felt compelled to visit a place where I knew I could get some brochures that were connected to one of my current goals. While there, I was also gifted two large posters that are symbolic of my goal. They are now proudly displayed in my home.
In fact, in every room I have visual references of this particular goal. It’s a big goal but I know I can achieve it.
Yes I can!
The visual references evoke a powerful emotional response every time I look at them which help to keep me inspired to go after my dream.

Hey John.
I could not love this one more. I read it, I watched it. I did it. And frankly, I KNOW (as you do about me) the power of a vision that is clear strong and filled with intention. I’ll give you an example: today, I got a commitment from a company to buy my $50K product. They are a VERY well know hotel chain and I talked directly to their VP today. (The buck stops there.) The power of vision boards are not in themselves alone. It requires passion, feeling, thought, visualization and a clarity people don’t seem to understand. Your vision board kit (I know because I read/did/watched) it, simplifies it down to the BASIC details. I am grateful to know you and to validate all of this. It is, indeed, a wonderful thign, folks when people like John can break it down for you in SUCH simple clarity.
-
This is so cool. And as I look at my life, what I presently have in it was manifested this way. Hmmm, let me go update my vision board,
This is good stuff John
-
AMAZING!

Vision boards rock my world. Thanks for this post John. I really get the point here too. I don’t think this is saying that because Oprah created a vision board, Obama was elected president (although Oprah is a powerful lady). I think the big take away from this post is that there is nothing you can’t put on your vision board. Every action you take may even maintain some level of influence onto the universe! This is a great philosophy to live by. Align your vibrations with big ideas, not small ones, right?
-
Hey John,
I wouldn’t write this post if I didn’t believe John was all about abundance.
I have tried out a concept called mind movies where you buy a small piece of software that lets you piece together up to a 9:59 minute movie that streams pictures you pick, to your choice of music along with powerpoints you fill in of your beliefs or affirmations that you insert in between pictures of what you’d like to bring into your life.
John’s system is the way to go if you’re a techno phobe for sure because all you need is a magazine and a board, but if you’re looking for the next level go to mindmovies.com and check this process out.
I don’t work for them or get any kind of affiliate commission so please understand I’m only posting this because I believe it’s an enhanced version of the Visionboard.
I love it. Maybe you will too.

Actually, you can do a whole lot just with PowerPoint. I’m not big on paper, so I made my vision boards virtual too. I have a slideshow and also set it up as a screensaver so it automatically kicks on after 3 minutes of inactivity.
I posted about The Complete Vision Board Kit on my blog, and at the end of the post I included my “virtual vision board” — if you want to see an example, see http://www.thevirtualhandshake.com/blog/2008/11/14/the-complete-vision-board-kit

Hi Friends,
I’ve been teaching about goal achieving for many years, and I’ve learned that the difference in success or failure is not how you look, not how you dress, not even how you’re educated. It’s how you think! In many ways we’re all alike; however, one little difference always makes a big difference. The little difference is attitude.
I’d like to share with you some of the keys to staying positive in today’s world with this 3-minute inspirational movie by my friends at Simple Truths. So sit back, relax, turn up your speakers and click on the link below.

By the way, if you like the movie, don’t forget to share it with friends, family and co-workers. Everyone needs an occasional “shot of inspiration.”

Hi friends,
If you are really serious about achieving greater financial success you must read and understand this now.
In my many years of studying human perception and peak behavior it never ceases to amaze me how many people think that we see with our eyes. We don’t!
We see when light bounces off an external object and enters our eye through the cornea, causing complex chemical reactions and electrical impulses to occur. This allows our brain to decipher the information from our external world and to determine whether or not it is important to us. It is actually our brain that sees and not our eyes. Our eyes are just like the lens on a camera – they allow in light that is reflected off objects so that our brain can see and process information.
Seems pretty simple right? Now, you may be asking why this is important to earning money and so I’ll explain to you what is really going on and why it’s especially important to you if want to achieve higher levels of financial success.
The way your brain works is really amazing when it comes to capturing and analyzing information. However, herein lies the problem.
Every second about 400 billion pieces of “information” from the outside world is being picked up through your eyes and your non-conscious mind. Your conscious mind however is made aware of up to only 2,000 of those pieces of information. That means that over 9.9999 million pieces of information are being dropped from your conscious awareness at any given time.
Your brain searches the outside world for patterns and images that it currently recognizes or deems highly important. It drops all other sensory information from your perception if it is not on your “important list” or part of your current mental programming or conditioning.
With that said, if you are conditioned to earn a certain income or if your company is used to generating certain revenues, your brain is will consistently seek out opportunities that match that level of income. Nothing less, nothing more.
Earning more income is totally an inside mental game and not an outside game. Working harder used to be the answer because that is what our parents, teachers and mentors taught us we should do. They didn’t know better. Today we do.
With all the advancements in brain research and recent understandings in quantum physics, you owe it to yourself to really understand how your priceless brain works and how to take control of all its powerful systems. In the last six years alone the advancements in human potential have been huge, especially in understanding why people get stuck financially.
If you are still working way too hard daily, then you are really missing the boat on taking your income or revenues to your true potential.
If you are interested in maximizing your income, revenues and living a healthier, happier life, I urge you to consider my goal achieving program that will show you the most advanced process to achieve any goal you deserve and desire.
You should also check out Chapter One (for free!) of my new book, The Complete Vision Board Kit, which unlocks the secret to using visualization to manifest the life of your dreams.

Hi John,
I’ve read Having It All and am now reading The Answer. You are the first person I trust what you are saying can work. I really want to reach my true potential. -
Dear John,
Sometimes we are fearful of what lies out of our comfort box. Other times it is findig the right job and courage to pursue it. With me I like my indenpendence and trying to generate income can be overwhelming. Most of the offers to increase income requires upfront fees that I do not have available. -
Hi John,
This is pretty deep. The hardest thing for me to work on, is the “reprogramming”. Your book “Having It All” is very helpful. I find that when I write my goals twice a day, I seem to accomplish more during a week than usual. I know that successful habits will lead me to a successful life. It is a discipline I have to apply everyday. Thanks ! -
John, Rewriting these old stories is challenging and is taking a lot of practice. It is fun, however, and I’m feeling better than I have in years! Thanks.
-
Hi John,
Great Blog! I look forward to learning more. Thank you! -
Having it all is a great book.

I recorded my vision statements and beliefs into a .mp3 file and play them using my iPod, connected to my car’s sound system. I play them twice a day: when I am going to work and when I am driving back.
In between I listen to podcasts on ecology, business, motivation etc.
My iPod only plays information.
is it that easy, why do i not find it so?
Hi John, Great post…again!
I’m glad you brought up the fact that you can switch things up!
Garry, is it that you have a hard time visualizing? You might be a verbal thinker (look at my website to find out – on the Thinking Style page). If you are a verbal thinker, rather than a picture thinker, then listening to a recording of your voice or writing your affirmations will probably be an easier way for you to start. Just a suggestion. Good luck…it is very fun to experience it working. Thanks, John, for your great information!
Hi John,
Like you, I use a multitude of methods to bombard my sub-conscious mind. I write vision statements, I write positive affirmations and program them into special subliminal MP3s which I listen to on a regular basis. I often play these MP3s as I sleep.
Something which I have been meaning to do but haven’t done so as yet is to record one of my vision statements and create a subliminal version of it that I can burn it onto a CD which I can also play on a regular basis. I’m expressing my intention here that I will complete this by the end of this weekend so anyone reading this can hold me accountable.
In response to Garry’s comment I’d like to add that like many things, at first this is not easy. It requires discipline and persistence if you want to achieve your desired results. But these methods do work and the results are so worth it.
And as Leland Val Van de Wall said:
“You only HAVE TO do something until you WANT TO…then you don’t HAVE TO anymore.”
Thanks, John.
I love this tip and the logic behind it as well. That really helps to harness the formerly seemingly inevitable wanderings of the mind into a simple scientific process worth adopting. I am thankful for you on this Thanksgiving Eve!
A few other useful ideas to consider:
1) Get a digital image that represents your goal, save it to your computer hard drive, and then use to as a desktop theme. Every time you are on the computer, you will be reminded of the image of your goal.
2) Write your 5 most important goals on a legal pad first thing in the morning. I keep the legal pad by my bedside. You can even write the goals in the dark. Neatness does not count. Embedding them in your subconsious does.
Happy Holidays.

unfortunately, since I live in iran i can not have access to your ” having it all ” program, but i still enjoy reading and practicing your tips on your blog.

Hey, John!

Oh, forgot to tell you I wrote under the pen name of Roberta Hoy. When you read it, you’ll find out why.

Who has the finest program out there on visualization?
I’ve used Michael Losier’s Law of Attraction system and have what I want written out.
I listen to what I written in the morning and then re-write the key allowing statement at night before I go to bed.
And when I go inside I haven’t quite found a groove where I really feel like it’s a compelling vision.
It seems fuzzy and my mind wants to cruise in 80 other directions.
Is there a clear set of guidelines someone has found absolutely works even though they had this problem at one time.
If so, I’d love to hear about.
Wishing you speedy and spectacular success,

Hi John,
I really like the direction my life has taken since finding out about The Secret!
I usually just think alot about what I would like to see happen.
But after reading here about recording in your own voice, I think that would be a smart thing to do.
In “The Answer” on page 126, John mentions “sublimal software” that can flash images on your computer screen. Does anyone know of such software (name and where we can get it) and/or have a recommendation based on their own experience?
Thanks Everyone!
Hi Mitch!
I know John has just written a book called The Vision Board Kit… I also use his vision board from this website… the link is http://www.johnassaraf.com/visionboard.php
Hi Joanna, I am familiar with John’s vision boards…thanks for the info, though. What I am referring to is something different…that is unless in his vision board kit John recommends some software applications do that do the “subliminal” flashing of your affirmations on your computer screen. If not, do you know of any programs that do?
Thanks, Mitch
